STARTBOOST is given to newborn animals immediately after birth to support the gut and immune system, or after antibiotic treatment. It contains probiotics (beneficial gut bacteria) and high-quality colostrum — a source of immunoglobulins and amino acids — together with vitamins, dextrose and easily absorbed energy.
Its beneficial bacteria help establish a favourable gut microflora for good digestion and efficient weight gain, compete with pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella and E. coli (competitive exclusion), and help stimulate local gut immunity (IgA production) and the systemic immune response.
